I hardly remember this tune, must have been about 1992-1994 ish.
After years of searching, I have just found out where the producer of the tune ripped the female vocals from.
Click this link to hear the origanal version (1971 I think). The sample used is at the end of this clip, and goes:
"up up to the sky"

Anyone ID this tune for me? It's been buggin me for years!
Thanks
yeh I recognise the sample (the tune is 'Fly Robin Fly' for those wondering which tune on the link-page)
It was sped up-chipmunk style right? Old hardcore-ish ?
Damn I know this one ... maybe 1992 has it ...
was it Ilsa Gold ?
I'll get back to you on this

Nice one! Didn't think anyone would remember this! Didn't seem like it was a big tune at all. Only heard it once or twice.
I am sure I had a tape pack with it on back in 1993, but it's lost now!
I have another one I would like ID'd. I will post up shortly.
Thanks!

Just found this too...............
"Humble Munk is another moniker for Tru Thoughts label boss Robert Luis, which saw the release of the 'Off The Ramp' EP. The title track, a funk/samba crossover, had originally appeared on When Shapes Join Together Vol 1' and was complimented by the track 'Up Up to the Sky', a funky drum and bass work out with double bass and horns."

Anyone know this tune? Looks like a newer track using the same sample?
Cheers
