Shepherds Pie is a gread way to use instant mashed potatoes or smash, technically a shepherds pie has cheese on it, however the use of the peas shows artistic flamboyance in the pic above. Nes Pas??????

thats probably why the poncey ones have no cheese, the super-conglomerates own all the supermarkets, and make them all without cheese n put beef in, they are able to do this with the market forces created by having a central bank. superb observation, u get a ron atkinson spotters badge!

no i only wack off these days, occassionally in the tool shed, to avoid the parents and any visitors who may drop by for tea and crumpets, with cheese.

yes cumberland with cumberland pork sausages + herbs, cottage wit beef, shepherd's wit lamb n cheese.

LENTIL N GREEN BEAN SMASH CHEESY PIE:

Ingredients:

* 3/4 cup cooked Lentils
* Onion
* 1/4 cup Chicken Broth
* 1 tablespoon WW Flour
* 1/4 cup Corn
* 1/4 cup of Green Beans ( or Peas)
* 1 small Sweet Potato
* Cheese (I used my fave reduced fat Jalapeno Cheese)
* Salt
* Pepper
* Oregano
* Garlic Salt

1. On the stove top heat up the lentils and onion.
2. In a small bowl mix the chicken broth and flour and pour over the lentils
3. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 5 -10 minutes or until sauce reduces
4. Once sauce appears thick add the corn, green beans and spices
5. Peel the sweet potato and microwave for 4 minutes
6. Mash the soft sweet potato with some chicken broth
7. Place the lentil combination in the mini loaf pan and then layer mashed sweet potato on top.
8. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes, remove top with cheese and bake for 5 more minutes

That looks minging

Shepherds pie does not have cheese on the top, but you should put on knobs of butter to melt and krisp up the top.

On another note anyone had corn beef hash? My Mum does it

Corn beef cut up in big chunks, mixed with a tin of oxtail soup, mash potato on the top, cheese is allowed on the top here

I dont know where she got the recipee from, its interestiiing

urgggggh sweet potatoes, n i h8 green beans too, i'm a meat and tatties person all the way!!!!!!!! h8 vegies ergh!!!!!!!!!

yes corned beef hash is nice, but i didn't know you could have cheese on it - snigger.
