Boring FL Studio question

Alright people, I'm new to the forum. Basically when I route a channel to the mixer and put an effect on that individual channel, it affects everything in my mix, and can't figure out how to stop it.

Any ideas? Cheers.

you sure youre not putting effects on the master?

yeah i'm not putting effects on the master, insert 1 etc etc.

are all samples routed to that fx channel? if not i have to admit i dont know. but if you just attach a snapshot of your proof of purchase im sure we can get tech support from image-line to answer this question. or maybe even the man himself, whats his name, bol or something. apparently hes quite the charmer.

If you're sure you're inserting it in the right insert then yeah as ^^ said the chances are you've routed all channels to one FX channel, which is easily done if I remember rightly, it's a little icon somewhere on the FX. Have you tried starting a new project quickly and trying it again?

Thanks for the help guys, will see if it's something to do with routing all channels when i get home from work. For now more concentrating less daydreaming about producing the next banger lol
